How to file
- File the residence application through RADEX, the "Radicaciones y Tramitación de Ingreso" portal, which handles the process remotely
- Check the requirements for your route first — Mercosur and non-Mercosur residence have different ones
- Use the autogestión system for extensions and corrections to a filed case
- Once residence is granted, book the appointment for the foreigner DNI through the dedicated channel
- Your most recent border crossing can be checked through the "último tránsito de ingreso o egreso del país" service
- The directorate also issues the AVE electronic travel authorisation and travel permits for minors leaving Argentina
- Questions go to the Canal Único de Contacto; the agency operates nationwide, 24 hours a day
