Kuwait does not levy corporate income tax on wholly Kuwaiti/GCC-owned companies or personal income tax; foreign companies are taxed at a flat rate. The Ministry of Finance administers taxation.

- There is no personal income tax and no VAT yet.
- Kuwaiti and GCC-owned companies are subject to zakat/other contributions rather than CIT.
