City Overview
The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government, parliament and royal court — and a world capital of international law (the ICJ, the ICC and many international organizations). On the North Sea (Scheveningen beach), dense with embassies and institutions, it is the Netherlands’ most international and diplomatic city. High quality of life, very safe and green; housing costs trail only Amsterdam — the political and international-law center of the Netherlands.
