City Overview
Nanjing is Jiangsu’s capital and a six-dynasty ancient capital on the lower Yangtze, a historic city with strong universities and research. It has many landmarks (Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Confucius Temple, Ming wall) and tree-lined streets, making it livable. Cost of living is below Shanghai; a Yangtze-Delta hub with strong electronics and software.
