City Overview
Mianyang, in northwestern Sichuan, is the province’s second city after Chengdu and "China’s Science City"; the China Academy of Engineering Physics (Mianyang Science City) and Changhong Electronics make it a national leader in defense research and electronics-information. The Fu River runs through it amid good greenery and high livability. Cost of living and housing are low; an innovation node of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, with a mild climate.
