City Overview

Florence is the capital of Tuscany and the cradle of the Renaissance, world-renowned for art, architecture and Tuscan food and wine. Compact and walkable, it draws many international students and tourists (so English is fairly usable); tourism, however, pushes rents high for the city's size, and local job opportunities are limited.
