City Overview
Espoo is the second city of the Helsinki metro and Finland’s tech center — Nokia HQ, Aalto University and the Otaniemi innovation park make it a Nordic core for deep tech and startups. Rich in green space and coastline (near Nuuksio National Park), high-income and family-friendly. Living costs are similar to Helsinki with more housing space, and it is very safe — Finland’s tech, education and R&D engine.
