City Overview
Datong, in northern Shanxi where Shanxi, Hebei and Inner Mongolia meet, is a national historic-cultural city and a Northern-Wei ancient capital, world-famous for the Yungang Grottoes (World Heritage), the Hanging Temple and Huayan Temple.
