City Overview
Cambridge is a world-top university city (the University of Cambridge) and a global biotech and deep-tech cluster (the "Silicon Fen," dense with AI, semiconductor and life-science startups). Punting on the Cam, college architecture and an academic atmosphere are world-famous, with extremely high patent and startup density. Housing is extremely tight and costs trail only the London area, but it is very safe, compact and bike-friendly — the academic and tech powerhouse of eastern England.
