City Overview
Dezhou, in northwestern Shandong by the Grand Canal, is a transport junction linking North and East China (a Beijing-Shanghai HSR stop) — a "thoroughfare to all directions and a gateway to the capital." Solar energy (Himin), new energy and agri-processing (Dezhou braised chicken is nationally famous) are strong.
