Yibin
City Overview
Yibin, in southern Sichuan where the Jinsha and Min rivers form the Yangtze, is the "First City on the Yangtze." Home of Wuliangye and the "Liquor Capital of China," it leads the nation in baijiu, while power batteries (a CATL base) and smart manufacturing have risen fast. Famed for the Shunan Bamboo Sea and tea culture, it has low cost of living and housing and a mild climate — the regional center of southern Sichuan and an upper-Yangtze port city.
