City Overview
Wuhu, in southeastern Anhui on the south bank of the Yangtze, is the core of the Wan-jiang city belt and Anhui’s second-largest economy; home to Chery Automobile, it is strong in autos, robotics (EFORT) and electronics. A "great Yangtze port and Anhui’s backbone," it is near Nanjing and integrated into the Yangtze Delta. Cost of living and housing are low; Fantawild theme park and rice-market culture are famous, with a mild climate — an advanced-manufacturing city of the Wan-jiang region.
